Raphael Montes was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1990.

A lawyer and a writer, his novels include Roulette, Perfect Days, The Village and Secret Dinner, all of which are currently being adapted for film by RT Features (Call Me By Your Name). Raphael regularly writes screenplays for film and television.
