Elizabeth Kolbert Named Honoree of the 2026 Rachel Carson Award

Elizabeth Kolbert, Pulitzer Prize-winning author and journalist, will be honored with the Rachel Carson award at Audubon’s Women in Conservation Luncheon on May 13th, 2026. Founded in 2003 in tribute to Rachel Carson—renowned author and trailblazer of the modern environmental movement—, this Luncheon celebrates remarkable women leading the charge for environmental progress, and honors their impact while inspiring the next generation of women to pursue careers and advocacy in conservation.
