Overall Book of the Year for “Patriot” at British Book Awards

Alexei Navalny’s  Patriot was named “Overall Book of the Year” and “Non-Fiction: Narrative, Book of the Year” at the 2025 British Book Awards.
In a video message broadcast at the event, Yulia Navalnaya said: “This book was never meant to be published after Alexei’s death…he wrote it with all the strength and honesty that defines him. He wrote it in secret, from a prison cell, under the most brutal conditions…and yet he created a manuscript that speaks his clarity and conviction.”
