Inspired by a true story, The Cherished Son is a gripping, emotionally charged family thriller that explores the devastating cost of protecting the child you love.
On the eve of adopting their first child, Alex and Marie’s world is turned upside down. They decide to go ahead with the adoption, surrounding their son, Noé, with unconditional love.
But something begins to crack.
Their bright, athletic boy starts to drift away, slipping beyond their reach—and becoming dangerous. They chose him, but now they may not be able to save him. Or themselves.
A haunting story of love, loyalty, and the impossible choices parents make for their children, The Cherished Son leaves the reader with an inescapable question:
What would I have done?
