Dan Spencer is a prize-winning author whose prose poems and flash fictions regularly appear in journals including Popshot, Litro, Gutter and New Writing Scotland, among other places.
He grew up in a commuter town outside London and earned a bachelor’s in English Literature with Creative Writing from UEA and a master’s in Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow. He’s also a teacher of international students and has worked in Osaka and Riyadh.
Right this moment you’ll find him by the sea near Newcastle, with his wife, two lovely daughters and lovely cats. His debut novel Cat Lover was published by Atlantic in 2024.
