Kalindi Ramphul initially wanted to be a dolphin or at least an oceanographer, but in view of her very poor grades in science, she quickly changed direction. She is now a novelist and screenwriter. She co-created a podcast with 2 million listeners. Her début Purple Days was published by Lattes in 2024, and is currently being adapted for film.

H.A. Jensen was born in Oklahoma with her twin sister and raised mostly in Hawaii and Arkansas besides the two years her mother was on the lam. She was a musician, a coder, and an office drudge who spent decades writing marketing copy in other people’s voices before becoming a novelist. She lives in a beach community on the Jersey Shore with her wife and son.

Tatiana de Rosnay Franco-British par excellence! She was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1961 and has since spent her life between France, the USA, and England. She had a prolific career as a freelance journalist for numerous French publications including Vanity Fair, Psychologies Magazine, Elle, and the JDD, before publishing her first novel. She has since worked on many screenplays including Martin Bourboulon’s Eiffel in 2021 with Emma Mackey et Romain Duris.

Tatiana is fascinated by family secrets and the memories that are buried between our walls. Her first great success came in 2006 with the publication of her novel Sarah’s Key, which sold millions of copies and was brought to the screen in 2010 by Gilles Paquet-Brenner. She went on to publish many other widely acclaimed novels worldwide, including Manderley Forever and Flowers of Darkness, writing in both French and English. Several of her books have been adapted to screen, including Boomerang (François Favrat), Moka (Frédéric Mermoud), and Tout contre elle (Gabrielle Le Bomin).

Les fleurs de l’ombre is currently being adapted for a feature film by Yann Gozlan.

Elise Farotto is a regular contributor to such publications as BUST and Witches Magazine. She has studied creative writing with the incomparable Julia Cameron, comedian Cameron Esposito, the Groundlings, is a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association and regular attendee of the Iowa Summer Writing Festival. Her own grassroots literary magazine, Wyldcraft, is forthcoming this fall. Elise also earned her BA in filmmaking from USC and her MBA from Pepperdine. She works as a film & TV executive in Hollywood.

Aimée has her Master of Letters in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow, the alma mater of her great uncle Alexander Trocchi. She has exhibited her work at Flint Gallery in Norwich, theprintspace in London, and the Superette Gallery in Paris as a part of Never Turn Back, a photography/poetry project in collaboration with Dean Chalkley. She lives in North Carolina with her husband and a dog called Cowboy.

Walid Hajar Rachedi was born in France in 1981 and spent several years in Latin America and the US. His debut novel Qu’est-ce que j’irais faire au paradis? was a finalist for the Goncourt Prize for a debut novel in 2022, and his second novel, Nos destins sont liés, was published in September, 2023.

He is also the co-founder and director of Frictions, an online media platform, widely renowned for its podcast series, which investigate global social issues in a long-form narrative style.

He is currently co-writing a film screenplay, produced for television by Alain Pancrazi (Brain Productions).

Giulia Caminito was born in 1988 and lives in Rome. Her first novel, The Big A, won the Bagutta Opera Prima Prize, the Berto Prize, and the Brancati Giovani Prize. She is also the author of The Day Will Never Come. Her most recent novel, The Lake’s Water Is Never Sweet, won the 20 Campiello Prize. Caminito’s books have been translated in over 20 countries.

Denise Dorrance is an American-born cartoonist and illustrator. Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she moved to London where her sharply ironic work appears regularly in magazines and newspapers – including a long-running column, ‘Mimi by Dorrance’, in YOU magazine. A collection titled It’s All About Mimi was published by Idlewild.
