Louis Levy
Louis Levy is a French-American director and screenwriter based in Paris. Born in Paris and raised in London, he later moved to New York to attend Parsons School of Design, where he earned a double major in History and Photography. While still a student, he began directing award-winning commercials for brands such as A.P.C., the Tribeca Film Festival, and music labels like Mad Decent.
In 2015, he co-founded MIMI in New York, named one of GQ’s “Top 10 Best Restaurants in America,” and followed with BABS in 2018—both praised by The New York Times and every major food publication on the East Coast.
After the pandemic, Louis returned to filmmaking. His debut feature was acquired by Borsalino Productions and is set to shoot in winter 2025, starring French comedy icon Michèle Laroque. He is also developing a limited TV series with Mediawan.
A dual citizen of France and the United States, Louis now lives full-time in Paris—though he (sometimes) misses New York.
