Séverine Auteserre Wins the Emerging Scholar Award from the ISA

SLA author of the forthcoming book The Frontlines of Peace, Séverine Autesserre has just been awarded the Emerging Scholar Award by the International Security Studies Section of the International Studies Association. The award recognizes scholars who have made significant contributions to the field of security studies through their publications. The committee charged with awarding the accolade noted that “Dr. Autesserre’s work has revolutionized the study and practice of peacebuilding, and of security studies more broadly.”

The award will be officially presented to Dr. Autesserre at the International Studies Association’s conference next year in Las Vegas.

Autesserre’s new book, The Frontlines of Peace, is forthcoming with Oxford University Press in March of 2021.
