‘Ellie Pillai is Brown’ shortlisted for the Lollies 2024!

We are delighted to announce that Christine Pillainayagam’s Ellie Pillai is Brown has been shortlisted for this year’s The Laugh Out Loud Book Awards (the Lollies)! The Lollies celebrates the best and funniest children’s books in the UK and Ireland, and is voted for by children!

In 2023, Ellie Pillai is Brown won the Branford Boase Award, and was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and Jhalak Children’s Prize.

The third and final book in the series, Ellie Pillai is Not Done Yet, published last week with Faber & Faber in the UK.
