We are so thrilled that Bruna de Luca’s vibrant teen summer romance, Livia in Rome, won the 2026 Leeds Book Award for the Teen Fiction category!

The Leeds Book Awards 2026 celebrates the best newly published children’s books, with winners chosen by young readers across four categories. Run jointly by Leeds Libraries and Leeds School Library Service, these book awards aim to encourage reading for pleasure, celebrate newly published children’s literature, and champion diversity in authorship, characters, and genres. The project is judged by children and young people, who read, review and vote for their favourite books.
