“A Hymn to Life” and “The Calamity Club” among Amazon’s Best Books of 2026 So Far

We are delighted to celebrate two outstanding titles that have been selected as two of Amazon Editors’ Best Books of 2026 So Far.

In the non-fiction category, A Hymn to Life by Gisèle Pelicot was listed the #8 Biography & Memoir of the Year So Far. The memoir continues to receive widespread acclaim, having also recently won the 2026 Prix Babelio for Non-Fiction in France. The audiobook edition has likewise been selected for Audible’s Best of the Year (So Far) list.

In fiction, The Calamity Club, the long-awaited new novel by Kathryn Stockett, was selected as the #6 Literature & Fiction title of the Year So Far. The novel marks Stockett’s highly anticipated return seventeen years after The Help and has already established itself as one of the major publishing events of 2026.

We warmly congratulate Gisèle Pelicot, Kathryn Stockett, their publishers, and everyone involved in bringing these remarkable books to readers worldwide.
