Peter Singer named recipient of the 2021 Berggruen Prize

Renowned philosopher Peter Singer has just been named the recipient of the 2021 Berggruen Prize, a $1 million award given annually to “thinkers whose ideas have profoundly shaped human self-understanding and advancement”. Peter will direct half of the monies to The Life You Can Save, with a significant portion benefiting organizations working to end animal suffering, particularly in factory farming, and support for translations of Singer’s book, The Life You Can Save.
