Phoenix reveals stunning UK cover for “Take My Hand”

Phoenix has revealed the stunning UK cover for the “soon-to-be-classic” Take My Hand by Dolen Perkins-Valdez.

The buzz is well and truly building, with publications including Stylist, The Daily Mail, BBC News, Essence and The San Francisco Chronicle selecting Take My Hand as one of their “most anticipated reads of 2022”. Glamour calls it “An utterly gripping tale from start to finish… storytelling at its finest.”

Early praise has also been raining in from the likes of Bonnie Garmus, author of Lessons in Chemistry (“Magnificent. It is Civil’s determination and resilience that imbue the book with undeniable power and grace. I cheered out loud!” and AJ Pearce (“…impossible to put down. Berkley in the US and Phoenix in the UK will publish in April. French rights are with Le Seuil; Russian with Phantom Press.
