Séverine Autesserre named Knight of France’s Order of Academic Palms

Séverine Autesserre, author of the forthcoming book on international peacebuilding The Frontlines of Peace, has been named a Knight of the Order of Academic Palms by the French government. This distinguished title is awarded to those individuals who have taken extraordinary action in promoting French language and culture in the United States.

Dr. Autesserre is a leading scholar on peacebuilding, and is a Professor of Political Science at Barnard College, Columbia University. Her new book, The Frontlines of Peace, is forthcoming from Oxford University Press May 2021.
