Our current wishlist for the London office is for more internationally diverse fiction. We want transportative novels set in a multitude of countries and cultures, which explore different settings, ways of lives and histories.
We would like to add some pitchable concepts for crime-thrillers and bookclub novels, set both in the UK and Ireland, but also further afield. We’re looking for stand-out characters, compelling hooks and striking, memorable settings which bring us something never seen before in the genre.
Non-fiction should contain the same transportative elements, revealing different periods, cultures, histories, ways of life and thinking. Personal stories, unique insights and facts that are stranger than fiction are welcome. We would like to see books that expand the mind in engaging, well-written and original ways.
